Membership Application

   I apply for membership in the Port Aransas Rod and Reel Club.  I certify that I have released at the times and places below stated two or more game fish (as defined below*) unharmed, other than for the hooking of the fish.  If accepted to membership, and while a member, I pledge that I will make every reasonable effort not to harm game fish caught by me and that I will release all game fish caught by me except those fish recognized by the club as eligible to be brought to the wharf, such fish being the first of the species that I have landed, or any fish that might be eligible for record or any fish so mutilated or injured that it could not reasonably be expected to live or any fish in any recognized tournament that requires the fish to be brought to scales or wharf, or any fish which is edible and is saved for food purposes, or any fish which in the observance of good sportsman-like conduct, may be brought to the wharf (such as a fish of unusual shape, coloring, or caught under unusual circumstances, etc.).

I understand that an annual Donation to the PARR Conservation Fund of $40.00 per single member and $80.00 per couple in addition to a $10.00 operating assessment per single and $20.00 assessment per couple is customary and that my membership may be discontinued if this donation is not paid.
